ALISON LEMOH
Mezzo Soprano
Mezzo-soprano Alison Lemoh completed her undergraduate studies at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. She received her Postgraduate Diploma in Music Performance and Master of Music Performance at the Victorian College of the Arts, and was awarded the Lauris Elms Scholarship for The Opera Studio Melbourne.
Alto soloist repertoire includes Bach’s Easter Oratorio, Christmas Oratorio, B Minor Mass and a number of his cantatas, Handel’s Messiah, Mendelssohn’s Elijah, Mozart’s Requiem, and Schumann’s Der Rose Pilgerfahrt. Operatic roles include Carmen, Cherubino, 3rd Lady in The Magic Flute, Gluck’s Orfeo, The Old Maid (Menotti), and upcoming role as Flora in La Traviata. She performed in Lyric Opera Melbourne’s Our Man in Havana last year. As a chamber musician, she has performed with The Sydney Conservatorium Chamber Choir, Coro Innominata and AARK new music ensemble. Regionally, she was twice guest artist at the East Bank Centre, Shepparton and toured singing the role of Carmen.

Alison made her Lyric debut in the 2016 production of Malcolm Williamson's Our Man in Havana and returns to Lyric in 2017 as Amor in Monteverdi's The Coronation of Poppea.
