Bridie trained at the Victorian College of the Arts and graduated in 2009. Bridie is delighted to be performing the role of Nella in Gianni Schicchi in her fourth production with Lyric Opera. She has previously sung the roles of Mrs Jenks in The Tenderland (2014), Priestess in Iphigenie en Tauride (2013) and Ensemble in the Zarzuelas double bill (2011). Bridie also regularly performs at Lyric's Opera Bar.

 

Other roles include Suora Infirmiera (Suor Angelica), Marcellina (La Nozze di Figaro), and Cobweb (A Midsummer Night’s Dream). Concert performances include Chausson’s Poeme de L’amour et de la Mer, Barber's Knoxville: Summer of 1915, excerpts from Dido and Aeneas and La Clemenza di Tito. In December 2013, Bridie performed Saint Saens’ Christmas Oratorio with La choeur de Saint-Augustin in Paris. By day, Bridie works in Project Management for Linfox. She is also a founding board member of The One by One Foundation, an organisation which has supported the establishment and ongoing development of the Ujaama Children’s Home in Tanzania.
