Lyric Opera of Melbourne presents a sparkling one-act comedy by one of the most beloved of all composers, Gioachino Rossini. Il Signor Bruschino is a vivacious one-act farce. This fast paced comedic opera displays Rossini's mastery of the comic stage through beautiful and endlessly inventive music. 

Bruschino will be brought to the stage by an exciting creative team of Melbourne’s finest young theatre makers and opera singers. At just over an hour in length and performed at Lyric's home at Chapel off Chapel, Lyric’s new production of Rossini’s Il Signor Bruschino will make a fabulous night out for the seasoned or first time opera goer alike.

The performance will last 70mins with no interval, and will be sung in English.
