Jessica’s love for theatre began at an early age when she started training with The Canberra Youth Theatre. This progressed to a love of opera, which resulted in Jessica moving to Melbourne to study at the Victorian College of the Arts where she completed her BMus in 2007. In 2008 Jessica attended the Film and Television Studio focusing on script analysis, Method and Meisner technique.

 

In 2013 she was selected to represent Australia in the US at the World Championships of Performing Arts where she was awarded gold for opera and acting as well as the industry award.

Jessica has performed with Melbourne Opera, BegOpera, Left Bower and toured China with Australian International Opera Company. 

 

Jessica first performed with Lyric Opera in the 2009 production of Dido and Anneas then Merrie England, Iphigenie en Tauride and Gianni Schicchi. 

 

 

With the guidance of mentor Jane Millet, Jessica is delighted to bring her years of stage craft and performance experience to the role of directing in Stella.
