Lucy graduated from WAAPA (Advanced Diploma of Lighting Design for Production and Performance) and Curtin University (Bachelor of Arts, Fine Arts) and is a co-founder of the Filament Design Group. Lucy’s design work spans theatre, music theatre, concert lighting, opera, dance, film and television.

 

Lucy’s most recent designs include Ugly Mugs for the Malthouse Theatre and Griffin Theatre, Let's Get It On – The Life and Music of Marvin Gaye for Room 8 Productions, The Confidence Man for Side Pony Productions and Bent for Cut Lunch Productions.

 

Lucy is the resident lighting designer for Magnormos, an independent producer of Musical Theatre in Melbourne.

 

Lucy's first design for Lyric was the 2014 production of Werther and she returned to the company in 2015 to design the Double Bill, and Our Man in Havana in 2016. We welcome her back to the company in the 2017 production of The Japanese Princess.
